Oct. 25–26: On the Twenty-First Century. DETC's Season Nine Opening Gala features songs from Broadway musicals that debuted in the past 20 years. Audiences can expect a cast of some of the area’s most popular musical theater performers. The first performance is a Gala with hors d'oeuvres, wine and desserts, benefiting DETC's High School Theatre Internship & Scholarship Program.

Jan. 31–Feb. 9: Adoption Roulette, by Elizabeth Fuller and Joel Vig. WORLD PREMIERE! Adoption Roulette is based on a true account of Fuller and her husband adopting a little girl from Russia. The couple soon finds themselves trapped in a story that has all the elements of a Hitchcock thriller. The play takes the audience on a ride through the streets of Moscow and into the hinterlands of Siberia as the couple tries to realize their dream.

Mar. 13–22: How to Survive an Apocalypse, by Jordan Hall. A romantic comedy for the End of Days. Jen and Tim, a young and successful urban couple, become convinced that their party lifestyle is coming to an end. They become 'preppers,' hoarding supplies and learning to hunt. But their obsession takes its toll, and they are forced to imagine the apocalypse without the love of their life.

Apr. 17–26: Man & Wife, by Emma Goldman-Sherman. Man & Wife Wife is a play that speaks to this moment in our country's history. This social comedy begins in just prior to the 2016 election and follows a married couple, Ron and Missy Merriweather, beginning as ornaments on their own wedding cake, through 25 years of a bipartisan marriage, for better or worse.

Next season ticket sales will cover less than half of our operating costs. We keep ticket prices low so that the greatest number of people can afford to see great theater.
